Biography
I was given my first camera when I was 13 and went on a class trip to Paris as I wanted to capture every moment of my trip abroad to share with my family and friends. When given the opportunity, I chose to study photography as a GCSE, followed by an A-Level at NULC and then finally studied it as a BA (Hons) Degree at Staffordshire University where I was awarded a First Class Honours Degree.
During my first year of University, we welcomed a new puppy into the family who become a subject of all my photographs, and eventually led me down the path of Canine Photography. For my final project at Uni, I photographed dogs on location taking reference from traditional paintings and it was at this point I realised how much I enjoyed photographing dogs - not to mention you get to cuddle a lot of adorable dogs on the job!
Living in Stone, Staffordshire, I mainly work within the Midlands - though I have been known to venture further afield when it's required. More often than not I prefer to shoot with natural light, adding in artificial light if its needed but I also offer photoshoots at your home if you'd prefer an indoor session instead of on location.
